Our long-serving top men\u2019s coach, Paul Kelly, may have put it best:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>I don\u2019t know who decided to take nine people from each college, put them in a boat, and see who can go backwards down the river fastest. But we might as well be the best at it.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Balliol enters racing events throughout the year. The Men\u2019s first novice boat (A) had a fantastic rage against Oriel MB on the first day, winning by over half of the course! W2 once again qualified for Summer Eights, rowing on with ease. Two other Balliol women are in the Oxford Women\u2019s Squad 2024.
